Response to a post by Ian Moon on the TVR Cerbera group.

Posted on February 22, 2002. My comments are in red.

Oh my God, what have we got here - it's the attack of the 'VictorMeldrews'.Why is it that when you try to help someone like yourself, you get a kickin the 'testicles'?Firstly Faisal, lets just have a re-count…

I don’t know who this Victor Meldrews is, and I am not here to trade talking points. Return my money and say you are sorry. We can then both get on with our lives. Do you have the guts to own up and apologise?

Re: Falsified insurance claims: -Ian Moon = 0Faisal Khan = 1 (When you claimed for a Cerbera that you crashed in the States that was anillegal car into the United States and there under falsified documentation, therefore uninsured… remembers the tale you told me?)

Ian, I never told you any such thing. I only told you about the difficulty I had getting the insurance company to pay up. It was always fully insured under its own identity and it was here legally. It clearly states TVR Cerbera and the VIN number. And you can contact the insurance company to see if this is a bona fide insurance card or not. I had to provide pictures of the car before I could get insurance. You can ask for copies of these pictures and confirm that it is my TVR Cerbera with me sitting inside. Finally you can ask the insurance company what car they paid out for.

The title was originally from Hong Kong (where I bought it, see how it all ties together).

This document will also prove that the car was shipped from Hong Kong, directly into the US, not Canada as you claim below, and to which you seem to attach a great deal of importance for some reason known only to yourself. I can put you in touch with the shipping company to verify all this, if you like.

Illegal importing cars to USA without 'type approval': -Ian Moon = 0Faisal Kahn = 1(When you changed the documentation to trick the authorities into lettingthe 1st Cerbera into the States, remember the tale you told me?)

You don’t need type approval to bring a car here…in fact I don’t think any DMV official in America knows what that term means. The cars sold here are certified to conform to the standards set by the US government. Foreign cars need to be either brought into compliance or driven under a few exemption clauses which I have become aware of after diligent research and have explained on my website as well as on Pistonheads.

I used the Temporary Importation method, the terms of which I complied with fully. Why would I not? It allowed me to bring my beloved Cerbera here. What am I supposed to have changed the documentation to?

Exporting Cars from USA then bringing another similar one back to USAclaiming it is the same vehicle through VIN plate exchanging: -Ian Moon = 0Faisal Kahn = 1(Remember the tale you told a few hundred others and me in the e-group?Careful here too, as some innocent people may get dragged into'Faisal-land' and fall victim through your incessant ranting, think about it!)

True, but it’s not a crime to buy the same type of car twice, or to export one and then bring in another one.

People have even done this with Toyotas!

I exported my first Cerbera because it was in a crash and needed to be repaired. Then I bought another one and imported it into the US. But it came here under its own identity. Anything else would be completely illegal. I don’t need to make any representations…please look up the form HS-7 requirements for temporary importation and you will see that you are grasping at straws.

I don’t need to do anything shady—and you can come check the plates on my second Cerbera and then confirm them with the previous owner. In fact, I don’t even know where the number is that’s stamped on the chassis cross member. I have never been able to spot it, but if you were to point it out, it would be good to finally see that. I do have a very sneaky suspicion that YOU know exactly where this number is.

Sending private e-mails telling the recipient how and why to defraud theinsurance company (on another matter): -Ian Moon = 0Faisal Kahn = 1 (If you've lost it I can post it for all to read if you require, your rightabout insurance fraud costing us all money long term, naughty, naughty!)

That’s interesting…please do post this “email” you claim to have. While you claim to be ignorant about IT matters, I wouldn’t put it past you to type something up and attribute it to me. I have absolutely nothing to hide. And I have a copy of every single email I have ever sent or received. So if it doesn’t tally with what I have, your credibility problems will only get worse.

The Final criminal activities Total is (drum roll, please): -Ian Moon = 0Faisal Kahn = 4

Four false accusations, all duly responded to.

If you are so convinced that I am a criminal, why don’t you call the police up? That’s what I did. But…whatever!

Here’s an idea. Pay me back my money and I will be the first to say what a nice guy you are and I had you figured out all wrong. I will even withdraw my court case.

It seems that if you take 'one plus one' it can sometimes add up to three (in Faisal's case

I seriously doubt you are qualified to comment on topics as complicated as simple addition after the crap you have written above.

and the comments and ravings of a disgruntled court case loser) in which it adds up to five!! The problem with taking 'angry' e-mails from 'Old Thorpey' is that he is no longer a 'good pal' of mine due to it costing him 25K+ in County Court for trying to invoice me for sub-standard work/goods (well done Burnley Magistrates court!)

Courts are often wrong because of insufficient evidence, incompetent representation, uneducated juries, etc. If you know how to pull a few tricks, and you seem like the streetwise kind of person who does, then I know it’s easy to manipulate the system. Is this how you “won” your court case. After a year of dealing with you and Richard Thorpe, I know who I believe and who I feel screwed over by.

I suppose you are referring to the fact that you perjured yourself and won a court case against Richard Thorpe? I don’t know all the specifics, but I know what you have put me through. And you might be sad to hear that most people I speak to say that “they would rather believe Mr. Thorpe than you” and from personal experience, I can say that the judge must have been mad and blind to fall for your story.

He still hasn't paid me either which is a little annoying too and I'm expecting around 9K from him. (County Courts Judgement on the case, NOT my own personal 'takings' on the Wedge Automotive 'saga',which are much stronger, but as a gentleman I wont enter into a childish slanging match), unless he does! Some people have learnt that strategically edited e-mails under oath, don't stand up in court ...do they? (Ps nice suit, forgot to mention that and where did you get Mr 'Erm' Bellamy from? What a great guy!)

Quick question…if he defrauded you out of 25,000, how come the courts only found 9,000 in your favour?

Writing to the TVRCC to get my membership revoked was a particularly nasty' under the belt trick' Quite a few (18) people have e-mailed me privately (DON'T WORRY you will remain nameless!) to express how dirty this is. What has it got to do with them? Should I write to friends, family and neighbours telling them about your illegal activities?

18 people emailed you, did they? At least 60 have emailed me. You are a such a tit! As for writing to TVRCC, it was the least I could do. Why don’t you write to them with your side…who knows, they just might believe you and allow you to race, especially since you must have so much proof of your innocence?

As for your friends, family and neighbors, you can tell them what the hell you like. You will have to weave a nice web of lies, I am sure, since you look these people in the eye everyday. And I have no illegal activities to hide.

Reasons for informing TVRCC:
1) If I ever see you in the paddocks or in the pits, there will be mayhem, the police will be called, etc. etc. It would only spoil things for everyone else.

2) There is lingering suspicion of you cheating in the past, worming your way into the incorrect class, racing with competition slicks with the labels shaved off, etc. It casts doubt on your records and shows you have not earned your place amongst the participants

3) If you are this cynical and unscrupulous, you would not compete fairly or in keeping with the spirit of the series. It would be best for the committee to be aware of this before the season started, so they could make an informed decision on whether to allow you to participate.

Do you see the relevance yet? Writing to them privately? Ian, it was very public. And I emailed you for months before to try and resolve this. I just got sick and tired of your never-ending lies and bullshit. Everyone has a breaking point.

If I'm not racing this year through these comments, then I'm going to lose some serious money here, due to thoughtless comments and actions and I will look towards recovering it through the appropriate American channels.(You're providing me with more than enough ammunition) Slanderous remarks cost money as does defamatory comments.

Ian, I hope you lose your money and your house too. Thoughtless? No, a lot of thought went into this.

And if you intend to become a lawyer, can I suggest that you keep your day job. Your attempts at sounding lawyerly are pathetic, at best. I am calling you a lying, thieving, son-of-a-bitch. Add that to your “ammunition”.

Faisal even lied when he wrote his e-mail to the TVRCC, whilst unbelievably mentioning about my apparent 'dishonesty' in the same letter. Bought in Honk Kong my ass, you shipped it out there, then shipped it to Canada to 'sneak' it under the noses of officials on the border whilst they turned there back 'literally' (involving impersonating officialdom by his wife to send altered documents), Again juggling with lies and paperwork against the law. Want me to tell more because i've got it, man.

Do you even stop to think before coming out with these bizarre statements? Why would I ship a car all over the world? How would sending it to Hong Kong help with bringing it into the US? If I did need to ship it to a third country, wouldn’t it make sense to ship it somewhere closer so that it wouldn’t cost quite so much. Don’t know if you studied geography (or anything at all for that matter), but take a globe out and take a look at where Blackpool, Hong Kong, and San Francisco are.

Noone ever impersonated anyone—there was simply no need.

Are you sure you’re not related to that retarded Customs official, Ian? You really are a moron. What kind of flowers do you sell again? Do you ever sniff them a little bit? Is the delivery van ventilated?

I don't have to defend myself here in public, as people know me (but I did steal a 'sherbet dab' from the corner shop when I was 5 though, does that count as a crime?)If your not careful I'm going to withdraw my invitation for you to come and stay at my house and I may even take you off my Christmas card list too. Yes I will!

You don’t have to defend yourself—that’s true. As is everything I have written.

Noone is falling for your attempt at deflecting attention from the main issue, especially when all you can come up with are just lame, false accusations, without ONCE addressing what you are being accused of. Note how I have refuted your claims point by point. This is what’s expected of you and what you would be doing if you had ANY proof of your innocence.

Keep your Christmas card. Another 2p in your pocket. Should help pay for court…

I'm a little bit miffed but not bothered at all, Hey its Blackpool – we don't get too bothered here about people and what they think/do, a world of people who know me (apart from messieurs Khan and Thorpe) seem to like me as a friend, and that's cool.

Keeping your chin up and head high and all that, eh. Good for you mate. But watch your back.

Any friend of yours is your friend only because they don’t know your scumbag side.

Isn't someone moderating this group where a ban can be imposed on troublemakers?

Terribly sweet and considerate of you. I have referred people to my website so as to keep all discussion of your sleazy antics off the list. Who the real troublemaker is will be decided in court…

Unlike Faisal I'm not an IT 'expert' and have no website to conduct a 'slagging off

You don’t have to be an IT expert. You just have to know how to type. Send me or any third party anything you want to say. You can use my website. I promise to put up your emails (verbatim) as I have done here. Even if they are complete bullshit like this one.

It’s all pretty easy. It’s just cut and paste…kind of like what you tried to do with my car and yours. It’s called “ringing” in England, isn’t it? And it’s very illegal. At least, that’s what the police told me. But what would they know…

'and moreover I'm not used to falsifying and changing documentation to enhance personal gains.

Not only are you guilty of the above, but you also tried your hand at ringing.

So this will be my only and final correspondence on the matter.

Moonie

You haven’t once answered my accusations. Are you sure you won’t correspond any more…perhaps you can come up with some more crap to “set the record straight.”

I notice that despite flailing about and making a lot of false accusations at me (on all kinds of matters which have absolutely nothing to do with you), you have not responded to my questions (which have everything to do with me):

  1. Did you try to make a fraudulent insurance claim using my car?
  2. Do you still have my money, despite having promised to repay it a couple of months ago?
  3. Where are all the parts to my car?

Still, I have responded directly to each and every accusation you have leveled at me, but you haven’t responded to any of mine... how strange. Could it be that you don’t have a leg to stand on?

Ian, we were supposedly good friends. Don’t you think you did something wrong in order for me to be saying all this? If I did so many things that were illegal, why did you wait until now to speak up? Since you are such an upright citizen, why didn’t you call the authorities on me long ago?

And if you are innocent, and I am the one engaging in criminal behavior, then why would I bring all this up in the first place? To get myself caught? Oh yeah, that must be it.

Faisal

Response to a couple of posts by Ian Moon on the TVR Tasmin-Challenge group.

Posted on February 22, 2002. My comments are in red.

Charming talk, Richard 'mi old friend'.  On the subject of 'bad shite' don't you owe me 9K and have a considerable amount of my property in that shed of a garage, you call a workplace.  Come on Richard, dig deep into your voluminous trousers and pay up, or I'll release the hounds! Seriously, watch your mouth or I'll let everyone in on the person you are, your comical business and your 'activities' in glorious detail (found out a few cheery things about you over the last 6 months J )  Just behave yourself, good boy and concentrate on improving your racing.  Who ever moderates this site, are we allowed to behave in such an aggressive and unprovoked way towards each other with out bans? I ve been very quiet and diplomatic about recent Wedge Automotive activities but I can spill the beans if provoked by him.  Ian Moon (BTW Noel, one day I'll tell you the Thorpe/Moon story and you'll may'be think again about jumping to rash decisions about people whom you don't know) Apologies to You, Steve, I know this is not apt for this group but you can see why I'm replying.

Ian,

you haven't been paid because the judgment is under appeal.

Don’t you have a considerable amount of my property?

I haven't been given my money back because...?

You tried to make a fraudulent insurance claim because...?

Suspicions remain about the legality of your dealings both on the racetrack and elsewhere...

Numerous other questions remain, but you will no doubt hide behind some excuse of not wanting to sling mud or how you will not respond to accusations anymore.

### its hard to sit back whilst your name is dragged through the mud, and childish comments are thrown at you.###

Of course, you’d never do this, would you, Ian. I refer everyone to Ian’s email above.

Hands up all those who would 'sit back' and do nothing if they were owed £9,000.00 by Wedge Automotive. Think about it ! If the situation was relevant to yourselves, and try putting yourself in my place, then who can honestly say that being owed money of this amount and get called 'fit-to-burn' is palatable .

In my case, it’s you who owes me some money, not Wedge. And Wedge isn’t paying you because they are appealing the sentence. Aren’t you being a little hypocritical, Ian?

Ever bought a shirt that fell apart at the seams so you had to take it back? , well I bought the automotive version that fell apart at the seams and have spent ANOTHER considerable amount correcting it.

If the courts found in your favour, Ian, I would have to say that justice was not done.

Mr. Thorpe has an excellent reputation for building highly competitive cars that have placed in the first three numerous times. Why would he still be in business if his workmanship was so poor? Why would so many loyal customers and friends rise to defend his reputation?

And isn’t it true that you asked to have the car removed from his premises before it was finished, ostensibly to have it painted, and then took it home without paying Mr. Thorpe or allowing him to finish working on the car? And then you wonder why it “fell apart at the seams” (or so you say).

Theres an injustice taking place - OR is the Court / British Justice system wrong AND their decisions wrong too , because Thorpe 'seems' like a nice kinda chap .Under Oath was a lesson in dishonesty , you wasn't there so can judge without knowing the true facts, but know this, Judgement was passed by people experience in their professions...Nuff said !

The only injustice is that shitheads like you are out of jail.

What a bloody farce ...... 3 years of defending my innocence/ finances against the "garage from hell" and I still come out smelling like shit!

You smell like shit because you are full of it.

Just give me MY F**cking money !!!!!!!!!!

My sentiments precisely.

Moonie , F**ck this for Fun !

No, go f**k  yourself.
