Look at these pictures carefully! Photography is not allowed at Ducati, and you are not even permitted to go into the racing department (the blue doors with the C (for Corse) written on them. However, yours truly not only managed to take pictures everywhere, but also sneaked into the racing department when everyone was out to lunch and the back door was left open. Sadly there wasn’t much to see. Although I would have loved to take a look under the bike cover, I decided not to push my luck. The cantina and the museum was great! And they have pictures of Ducatis even on the receipts.
Other items of interest…the pallets that allow easy and efficient loading of bikes onto trucks, even the dumpsters were painted in traditional red, and the huge picture on the side of the building. That is what we used to find the factory. We could see it for miles!!!
We also saw the Mike Hailwood replicas being built. Only 2,000 will be made, and they all sold out on the internet within 6 hours of being announced.
