Another Cerbera!!!
Cruising around outside Maranello, Tommy yelled “Look, it’s another TVR!”
I thought the heat had finally gotten to him, but when I looked through a gap in the traffic, sure enough, there was another Cerbera! A lovely green 4.5 litre one. We followed it into a petrol station and it turned out to be Mr. Richard House, honeymooning with his beautiful wife. We chatted for a bit, but he seemed to be in a hurry to leave for Lake Como. He did mention that he was very happy with his dealer, Fernhurst Motor Cars, the same folks who have always been so very helpful to me. I told him about the Yahoo! Group for Cerbera folks and then we were off.
Tommy later confided that he had been tempted to offer to exchange places with Richard, but he wasn’t really sure if Richard’s lovely wife had winked at him or not. I am convinced she did wink, but at me! We still haven’t settled this bet.
