Monaco was nice, but the fog reminded me of San Francisco too much. The drive to Monaco from Italy is fantastic! This nifty little car has a BMW engine in it and is interesting for about 30 seconds. The yachts and fancy cars by the Monaco Yacht Club are pretty impressive. I wanted traces of F1 racing, and couldn’t find anything more than the painted curbs.
Cannes was canned and Nice was nice so we stopped there for pizza. The Cerbera’s bootlid came in handy as a dinner table. Useful little car.
We had a decision to make. Do a hail Mary and catch the racing at Le Mans (10 hours of driving at night--towards rain) or stick around in the Sarf of Fwance. Easy decision really. So it was time to press on—we decided to get to St. Tropez.
